I’ve been playing the piano for over 25 years and my specialism is blues and improvisation.

My musical career began at the tender age of 5 when I taught myself to play simple tunes on my musical pencil case. Not long after, my parents bravely bought me my first keyboard and endured my experimenting for several years after.

When I reached the age of 10, they arranged for me to have lessons and I began to learn classical piano. After passing Grade 8, I decided that I wanted to expand into other areas of music.

On my 21st birthday my Dad bought tickets to go and see Jools Holland in Sheffield. From that moment on I’ve been playing blues and boogie woogie, and I have performed all over the country.

I teach many different styles of music, from classical, to blues and boogie woogie, ballads, movie theme songs, Coldplay, Adele, and much more.

Now, with my Learn Blues course, you can benefit from my lessons wherever you are in the world. My blues piano video lessons have been designed for beginners so it doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a piano before – or if you gave up when you were a child. Whatever your age or ability, you’ll find it easy to follow my simple, modular lessons which gradually build your skills – from a basic left hand right through to an advanced lick.
